Daily Thoughts from Jean Vanier - 4/15/09

A Privilege
Over the past forty years I have learned the transforming power of people with disablities. I don’t live all the time in a home anymore. I have a little place outside. But I have the privilege of eating all my meals in a home with people with disablities.... A lot of people know how to drink whiskey and go to the cinemas, but they don’t know how to celebrate. To celebrate is to say we are happy together.
